From childhood to adolescence and until old age, it plays a crucial role in a person’s overall well-being. Cognitive health is more important for seniors with chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and cancer.
Mental Health Awareness is essential for the elderly. It is important for them to understand the symptoms and to find an appropriate treatment.
June is cataract awareness month. Cataracts can develop due to aging as well as a few other factors such as diabetes, hypertension, eye injury, vitamin deficiency, smoking and alcohol consumption.

We are pleased to announce that Angela Wright has been selected to be the Assured Home Nursing Caregiver of the Month for May, 2022.
Angela has been a professional caregiver for over 35 years. She has been a dedicated employee of Assured Home Nursing for 17 of those 35 years.
Even before her professional career began, she took care of family and friends and her passion and love for people is what led her to begin her career as a caregiver professionally.
Angela’s clients see how much she enjoys interacting with them, whether it's playing cards, doing puzzles, dancing, exercising, taking them out shopping and/or appointments or just sitting on the front porch while enjoying the fresh air and talking.
All of this is what makes Angela an exceptional caregiver that stands out among her peers. Outside of work, Angela enjoys traveling, entertaining family and friends, and relaxing at home. Her greatest passion in life is protecting her autistic, nonverbal Grandson.
Congratulations Angela, we are grateful to have you as a dedicated caregiver at Assured Home Nursing Services!
