Spring into Life Adapting the Following:
Healthy Recipe for Seniors
Homemade Creamy Vegetable Soup
It is important to keep our seniors healthy with a balanced diet and nutritious meals. Many Seniors can have difficulty in chewing or swallowing all types of foods. In such circumstances, foods that are soft and moist can make it easier for them to chew or swallow.
This Homemade creamy vegetable soup has all healthy ingredients such as olive oil, carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, and so on. It is easy to make and also incredibly delicious and also increases the loved one’s appetite.
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) can blur your central vision by damaging the macula in the retina. It develops a black spot at the center of one’s vision. Even though it doesn’t affect peripheral vision, AMD makes it difficult to recognize faces, watch TV, read a book, drive a car, and so on.
Gradually, AMD can even cause blindness if not detected and treated early. Unfortunately, AMD can have a drastic impact on one’s overall health and wellbeing.
Living Life to the Fullest in the Post-Pandemic Era!
It was a long 2-year battle against Covid-19. We have come a long way from a complete shutdown to mask mandates, social distancing to work from home and homeschooling.
Adapting to lifestyle changes, pandemic induced panic, loneliness, and social isolation took a huge toll on our mental health, especially for the seniors.

Employee of the Month
Congratulations to
Erma Harris🎉
Erma is Assured Home Nursing caregiver of the month for March 2022!
Since March 2008, Erma has been with Assured Home Nursing. Erma is a diligent worker who regularly goes above and beyond for all clients. Her clients and their families have provided us with a lot of excellent feedback.
Erma is always ready to work extra shifts and is flexible with her schedule if another caregiver needs to change a day. Congratulations Erma for being Assured’s March employee of the month!
Erma communicates with her clients in such a way that they feel she is more than just a caregiver. She'll talk to them about their common interests, laugh and joke with them, and perhaps they'll watch a favorite TV show together. Erma enjoys sharing stories about her family with her clients. They begin to anticipate her arrival because of her ability to develop a relationship with them that feels more like that of a friend who also assists them rather than simply coming in and executing a job.
Congratulations Erma, we are honored to have you as a part of the Assured Nursing Team!
Your Feedback Matters!
